Donnafugata Mille e Una Notte Contessa Entellina Rosso DOC
The Donnafugata wines are produced at three distinct grape-growing sites in western Sicily: the historic cellars in Marsala, built in 1851; the cellar at Contessa Entellina, where the company has 642 acres of vineyards planted to Ansonica, Catarratto, Nero d’Avola, Chardonnay, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah
Tasting note: Donnafugata Mille e Una Notte Contessa Entellina Rosso DOC
Intense ruby red colored. The nose is characterized by an ample bouquet, with fruity notes (blackberry and black mulberry) and balsamic (liquorice) and spicy scents followed by hints of cacao. The palate is soft and embracing, surprising with an extraordinary silky tannin.
